Medical Marijuana in the Workplace

The Medical Marijuana Policy Symposium: Medical Marijuana in the Workplace will help employers better understand the medical marijuana law in Ohio, which will be in effect by September 8, 2018, Is your business ready to navigate the policies that  directly impact the business and the employees that you manage?  There are questions about how medical marijuana impacts drug-free workplace policies, workforce readiness, workplace safety and productivity and even discrimination concerns that employees need to consider.  Each speaker will give their experience and perspective on employer impacts of medical marijuana and provide guidance at what employers need to consider.  

Speakers include:
  • Frank McNulty, former Speaker of the House of the State of Colorado
  • Wendy Block, Michigan Chamber of Commerce Sr. Health Policy Director
  • Don Boyd, Ohio Chamber of Commerce Director of Labor and Legal Affair
  • Erin Reid, Sr. Legal Counsel, Ohio Board of Pharmacy
  • Jo McGuire, Employment Consultant on Marijuana Policy
  • Jonathan J Downes, Labor & Employment Law, Zashin & Rich
This will be a valuable event if you are a business owner, manager, workplace safety manager or anyone else that is concerned about medical marijuana and workplace policies.

I am aware payment or arrangements for payment must be made prior to the event and I understand that I will receive confirmation upon completion of the registration processes but I am not officially registered until payment has been received and I have gotten a receipt of payment.

Cancellations must be made in writing/email to Todd Hollett (thollett@oacbha.org) no later than one week prior to the event (April 18, 2018). All cancellations received after April 18, 2018 will not receive a refund of the registration fees.
