Event Description
The Ohio Association of County Behavioral Health Authorities, in partnership with the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, will host Ohio’s 2019 Recovery Conference on October 14-15, 2019. This is Ohio’s fourth annual recovery conference, and it will take place at the Hyatt Regency in Columbus, Ohio.
This event will bring together over 1,200 individuals in recovery from a mental illness and/or addiction, their family members and support givers, peers working in the field, and allied professionals. In an efforts to enhance the lives of individuals in recovery, and to strengthen Ohio's recovery community, this conference will feature education on topics such as becoming a peer supporter, client rights, workforce readiness, how to be a board member, yoga and mindfulness, how to tell your story, and more! This year's conference will also feature the fourth annual Celebration of Recovery. This event will take place October 14-15, 2019 at the Hyatt Regency in Downtown Columbus, Ohio.
